Transport Planner (Days) – Temp to Perm
Monday to Friday | 09:00 – 18:00 | 1 Hour Break
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE
Juice Personnel Ltd is an Employment Business acting on behalf of our logistics client, who is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy national fleet operation.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client's permanent team after successfully completing a 12-week agency period as a permanent Transport Planner.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily load planning and scheduling of a national fleet
- Prioritising workloads and planning routes to meet business requirements
- Conducting driver briefings and debriefings
- Monitoring and tracking tachograph compliance
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers
- Ensuring efficient vehicle utilisation and service delivery
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous transport planning or scheduling experience
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
- Understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Experience using route planning software is desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
