To ensure the smooth running of the premises which are used throughout the school day and ensure a secure and well maintained site.
The post holder will report to the Premises Supervisor who will co-ordinate and prioritise work across the various areas of responsibility and the site. • Site security. To lock/unlock the site as required. To ensure that the perimeter is secure and that the access gates are locked/unlocked as necessary. • Cleaning. To deal with any spills, leaks, unexpected areas of cleaning as they arise ensuring that the correct chemicals are used and signage put in place when necessary. To empty bins, litter pick and sweep to maintain a clean site internally and externally. • To undertake minor repairs as capable and directed. • To undertake more major projects in the school holidays including, but not limited to, decorating and more time-consuming tasks.
