ABBI Clinic is a specialist eating disorder service providing clinically led day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents and adults.
ABBI Clinic was created to provide early, expert intervention that enables people to recover whilst remaining connected to their lives, families, education and work.
We are now entering an exciting scale-up phase, with plans to expand geographically and continue building a market-leading community-based eating disorder service model.
As part of this growth, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Practice Manager to help streamline operations, strengthen systems and support the ongoing development of the clinic.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role within a growing healthcare organisation.
The Practice Manager will play a central role in supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic, improving operational efficiency, helping implement systems and processes, and ensuring high standards of organisation and patient experience across the service.
The role would suit someone with experience in healthcare operations, practice management, service coordination or healthcare administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operational running of the clinic
- Support appointment scheduling, capacity planning and patient flow
- Help improve operational processes and administrative systems
- Work closely with clinical, therapy and administrative teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist with the implementation of operational systems and workflows
Governance & Compliance
- Oversee CQC compliance and operational governance processes
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and records
- Assist with audits, policies and quality improvement activities
- Help ensure consistency across clinic sites and services
Team Coordination
- Support and coordinate administrative and operational staff
- Help maintain a positive, supportive and collaborative working culture
- Assist with onboarding, training coordination and operational communication
- Liaise confidently with clinicians, therapists and external stakeholders
Service Development
- Support ongoing growth and expansion projects
- Assist with the operational setup of future clinic sites
- Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and service efficiency
- Help strengthen systems and processes as the organisation scales
About You

Essential Experience - healthcare background not essential
- Previous experience in operations, practice management or service coordination
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience with healthcare systems, scheduling or operational software
- Knowledge of CQC standards and governance processes
- Experience supporting service improvement initiatives
