Tyler Hardwoods is a well-established specialist timber supplier offering workshop services to manufacture standard and bespoke timber products including mouldings, construction and furniture components.
We are expanding our capacity and have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Sales Estimator. If you have some interest, knowledge or background in timber we would be really interested in speaking with you and previous estimating experience would be ideal.
This role is focused on the calculation of price estimates based on the available stock and manufacturing processes for trade and domestic customers. Working with a small team you will support the organisation of a smooth workflow to deliver top quality timber products on time and excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be:
- Numerate and methodical with reliable attention to detail.
- Well organised with good communication skills.
- Versatile and able to work in a small but busy hardworking team.
- Proactive and enthusiastic about learning and upholding high standards.
- Ideally experienced in the timber industry or wood machining.

We are based in a rural location between Hungerford and Marlborough so your own transport is essential. This is a permanent position with scope for flexibility and progression. The starting pay is dependent on experience, with 20 days holiday per year plus public holidays. You will be eligible for a production bonus after the successful completion of a probationary period.
