Painter & Prepper
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £18 - £21ph
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm overtime paid at time and a half.
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Automotive Bodyshop Painter & Prepper to join a busy and well-established bodyshop. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and has experience working within a fast-paced accident repair or vehicle refinishing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
· Identifying damage and ensuring panels are prepped to a high standard before paint
· Mixing paints to manufacturer specifications
· Applying paint using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish
· Carrying out polishing and finishing work to remove imperfections
· Working to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
· Ensuring all work complies with health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of paint systems and application techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Full UK driving licence preferred
