Kitchen assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality tapas dishes.
- Monitoring food production and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to create new and innovative tapas recipes.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a kitchen assistant in a tapas restaurant.
- Knowledge of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
Bartender
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving a variety of drinks, including wines, cocktails, and beverages.
- Engaging with customers to create a friendly and inviting bar atmosphere.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining a clean, organised environment.
- Restocking the bar area and ensuring an adequate supply of beverages.
- Following all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender is preferred.
- Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Minimum required experience: 6 months
Spanish speakers are preferable for all positions to enhance our guests' experience and maintain the authenticity of our restaurant.
