Role: Defined Benefit Pensions Administrator
Salary: Up to £32,000 Per Annum DOE
Location: Coventry
Working Pattern: Office Based During Training Moving To Hybrid Working (3 Days Office – 2 Days Home)

The role:
- Managing pension administration activities for Defined Benefit pension schemes
- Processing member enquiries, calculations and benefit settlements accurately and within agreed service levels
- Maintaining scheme member records and ensuring all data is up to date
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries from members and clients
- Monitoring workloads and prioritising tasks to ensure service standards are achieved
- Assisting with scheme events, projects and reporting requirements
- Reviewing and checking work to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
- Building and maintaining a strong understanding of client pension schemes and benefit structures
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with internal controls, regulatory requirements and client expectations
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience within Defined Benefit pensions administration
- Experience working for a third-party administrator or within an in-house occupational pension scheme
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment
- Proactive approach with a desire to learn and develop professionally
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable:
- Studying towards or qualified in a recognised pensions qualification such as PMI
- Experience providing support, guidance or training to junior team members
