Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing menu recommendations when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales using basic maths skills.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Support the team during weddings and events delivering excellent standards of meal service.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for delivering high-quality service in a dynamic setting.
