August is a new, trendy Taylor Swift themed coffee bar in the bustling seaside town of Beaumaris. We require an experienced Barista for the busy summer period and to cover sickness and annual leave.
Summary
Are You Ready For It? Do you think you know the job All Too Well? Do you think you can work until Midnights? Or will August slip away like a bottle of wine?
We do require you to be a Swiftie or at least appreciate Taylor's music, as we belt out her music all day, every day.
We have extremely busy periods and the Swifties travel long distances to visit us. A cheery and friendly nature is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing customer needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Assist with basic food preparation when necessary.
- Support team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service.
