We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our team in Southport.

The Role
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk while providing excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests with a warm and professional manner.
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handling reservations, cancellations, and amendments.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records.
- Assisting guests with requests and providing information about the hotel and local area.
- Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Resolving guest queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Following company procedures, including health & safety and data protection policies.
What We're Looking For
- Previous reception, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, confident, and professional approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Competent IT skills and confidence using booking or reservation systems.
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
