Are you an experienced Composite Laminator looking to work on high-performance components used within Motorsport, Aerospace and Defence applications?
Our client is a specialist manufacturer producing complex carbon fibre components where quality, precision and attention to detail are critical. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their composites team with skilled laminators who take pride in producing exceptional work.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and modern manufacturing facility where you will be involved in the production of precision composite parts from start to finish.
Working with advanced carbon fibre materials, you will play a key role in ensuring components meet the exact standards required within highly regulated industries including Formula One, Motorsport, MOD and Aerospace.
Duties Include
- Pre-preg carbon fibre laminating
- Preparing moulds and composite materials
- Hand lay-up of composite components
- Vacuum bagging and component preparation
- Trimming and finishing completed parts
- Inspecting work to ensure exceptional quality standards
- Following manufacturing procedures and engineering documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency
About You
- Previous experience as a Composite Laminator
- Experience working with carbon fibre and composite materials
- Background within Motorsport, Formula One, Aerospace, Defence or similar sectors
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Committed to producing high-quality work
- Positive and reliable approach to work
