Sales Engineer – (Pumps), Shropham, Norfolk, NR17 1DT
Stuart Group is the largest stockist of water pumps in the UK. We are distributors for the leading brands. We work with the civil engineering, quarries, and industrial sectors. We offer a range of pumping equipment from 50 to 300mm in both diesel and electrical-powered products. We carry a large stock of accessories needed for pumping needs. We stock many used and refurbished pumps, so we can meet most client’s needs.
The suitable applicant should be used to working in a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering environment. We are interested in hearing from applicants, but not limited to, that are already working in a similar office-based Sales environment. Engineering knowledge is essential.
Knowledge or experience working with pumps and the associated systems i.e., flow calculations, head loss would be helpful. However, training can be provided.
Training and support will be given for the successful candidate to carry out the role as expected for the markets we work with. You may have worked in irrigation which is a great skill set to have.
Working hours are 08.30 -17.30 Monday to Friday (1/2 lunch break)
Reporting to the Sales Manager your main responsibilities will be as follows:
· Engaging with customer enquiries & advising them on current pumps and equipment solutions
· Producing quotations and following up
· Reasonable computer skills
· Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained.
· Assisting with Stock Control.
