We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
- Manage food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency across all menu items
- Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
- Lead menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management to optimise kitchen operations
- Train and mentor junior staff members in culinary techniques and service procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor portion control and minimise waste to maximise operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Demonstrable supervisory or team management experience in a culinary context
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
