Event Crew
Columbia Events is a complete bar operation serving a variety of exciting events and venues.
From well-established sporting arenas to boutique festivals, providing first rate service everywhere they operate is what they pride themselves on. With 2026 set to be their busiest summer to date, an opportunity has arisen for energetic, keen event crew/bar staff to join the team to make it the best season to date.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised team members to join Columbia Events as we head towards our busy summer of events. Perfect event/festival work for students looking to have fun whilst earning this summer.
Event/hospitality experience is preferred but not necessary, you will be provided with required training and resources. However an eagerness to learn and an aptitude to learn in fast paced environments is vital.
The job will cover a variety of roles, but your main task will be to collaborate with team members to build and operate an efficient bar service therefore a positive and practical mindset is essential.
Your core tasks will include:
- Provide a first-class, efficient bar service
- Setting up bars including construction work and heavy lifting
- Stock movement & monitoring throughout event
- Building and breakdown of bar infrastructure pre and post events
- Build a strong working relationship with the team

What experience and skills you might have…
- Confident communication skills
- Undergraduate level education level preferable but not necessary
- Previous hospitality/retail experience is desirable but not essential
- An ability to organise your own workflow and timeline
- A proven team player who is happy to have a go at anything!

Job Types: Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 5 months with additional work available
Day rate: £130 - £200

Work Location: Based near Maidstone but on the road all summer.
