As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a care home settings. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in following their individual care plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes effectively.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are required for documentation and communication tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and their families.
This role is to support in both Stainton way and Stainton lodge.
