We're working on behalf of a Pupil Referral Unit with multiple sites around Gloucestershire that offer short stays for children from Year 1 to Year 11 who have been, or are at risk of, exclusion from a mainstream setting. Students in all centres have the opportunity to experience a broad curriculum.
We have placed multiple educators at the school who are thoroughly enjoying their time there, making a real impact on children's lives.
The role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who may face barriers to learning, supporting them in the classroom and through wider pastoral support. This role includes learning in class, delivering interventions, helping students manage behaviour in a trauma informed way and contributing to a safe and positive learning environment.
Experience of working with children, particularly those with SEND or additional needs is essential alongside a genuine commitment to making a difference every day!
