We are working with an amazing school seeking an experienced SEN Class Teacher (UPS) to join their Outstanding specialist provision supporting pupils aged 2-19 with SLD, PMLD, ASD and complex need.

The Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
- Lead teaching and learning within your class, ensuring strong progress
- Work closely with TAs and external professionals to support complex needs
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, contributing to EHCP reviews
- Support behaviour management within a structured and nurturing environment
You will also have opportunities to mentor staff and develop leadership skills over time.
The Ideal Professional is Someone Who:
- Holds QTS
- Has at least 6 years experience in a specialist/ SEN setting
- Has experience working with SLD, PMLD or complex needs
- Is confident leading a classroom and support staff
- Has strong knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning
- Is passionate about inclusive education and pupil development
Experience mentoring staff or contributing to curriculum development is highly desirable.
