We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT tean. You'll play a key role in ensuring our IT infrastructure is secure, resilient and fit for the future, supporting colleagues across the organisation while delivering technology that enables outstanding services.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week required in our Bristol office, alongside site visits where required. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use are essential, as regular travel to our sites is required.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be at the heart of delivering secure, resilient and high-performing IT infrastructure that keeps our organisation running. You'll provide technical expertise to the Infrastructure Team and wider business, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable and fit for the future.
You'll take ownership of infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery, while supporting and enhancing our network, server and cloud environments. Working both remotely and on-site, you'll resolve complex technical issues, maintain accurate documentation and asset records, and ensure services are delivered in line with agreed standards and SLAs.
You'll also play an important role in shaping our infrastructure strategy, identifying opportunities to improve performance, security and resilience, while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and accuracy of our systems, data and technical documentation.
You'll have proven experience in an infrastructure engineering role, with strong technical expertise across Microsoft server and desktop technologies, enterprise hardware and network infrastructure. You'll be confident diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure and networking issues, with the ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality solutions to tight deadlines.
You'll bring a proactive, customer-focused approach, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both IT colleagues and non-technical stakeholders. You'll be experienced in producing accurate technical documentation, supporting infrastructure improvements and contributing to project delivery from planning through to implementation.
A relevant IT qualification is essential, with Microsoft certification desirable
