Job Summary
FM Environmental Ltd (FME) are hiring an Installation and Service Engineer - Northern Ireland. To be responsible for all aspects of the day to day installation and servicing of pumping and wastewater treatment equipment.
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Areas Covered: Northern Ireland
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours of Work:
8:00 to 5:00 Mon-Wed
8:00 to 4:30 Thurs
8:00 to 3:00 Friday
Job Description
- All aspects of the installation, testing and commissioning, of new water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants and other associated equipment.
- All aspects of servicing planned maintenance and reactive maintenance, of water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants and other associated equipment.
- Installation of MEICA, mechanical, electrical, installation, control and automation equipment on NI Water’s Infrastructure.
- Installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping and effluent treatment equipment on domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of working to RAMS in the water industry.
- Working to the procedures and completion of all documentation to comply with ISO 9001 OHSAS 18001; ISO 14001.
- Ensuring proper care and maintenance of all equipment supplied by FM Environmental
- Available for call-out and emergency response work
Criteria
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water and wastewater treatment equipment
- Qualified in electrical installation and testing to the 18th Edition
- Clean driving license

- Instrumentation knowledge
- Experience working on NI Water and/or Irish Water Uisce Éireann contracts
- Confined Space Training
- EUSR Water hygiene trained
- Sparksafe Registered
- Clean driving license
Pay: £25,364.28-£46,922.21 per year
