Pause Cat Cafe is now recruiting one part time weekend cook. As a member of the kitchen team you will be expected to prepare and deliver exceptional food, using fresh ingredients.
Customers at Pause will have booked a slot in which to sit and relax with our wonderful cats, so ensuring they receive their food on time is of the utmost importance.
All our ingredients for the menu are locally and ethically sourced, and you will share our ethos to bring people and animals closer together. This will be a fast-paced environment that will keep you on your toes (or paws) so be prepared for an exciting alternative to cafe dining.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Serving and maintaining a high standard of hot and cold food; maintaining an excellent standard of hygiene
- Setting up and closing down the kitchen station
- Liaising with the front of house team to ensure food is sent out quickly and efficiently.
Requirements (essential)
- Experience within a fast-paced cafe environment
- Experience using fresh products
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Excellent time keeping
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good level of English (B2 minimum)
- A respect of Pause Cat Cafe’s ethos and overall aim
