Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning products and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are kept spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks to management
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the premises, ensuring cleanliness is consistently upheld
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have DBS
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or additional duties as required
