Long-term Teachers is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to support a number of secondary schools across the Newquay area. We work closely with a range of welcoming and supportive schools that are looking to strengthen their support teams both immediately and for September.
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable individuals who have previous experience working within a school setting, ideally in secondary education. Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Roles may include general classroom support, small group interventions and 1:1 support for students requiring additional assistance.
We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within a school setting (ideally secondary)
- A patient, positive and proactive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to support students with a range of learning needs
- SEN experience is desirable but not essential
