Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, organised spaces.
Shift times:
9.30pm - 2.30am , Monday to Thursday
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial settings
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, changing rooms, and other communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or shortages promptly
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are covered efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Use floor cleaning machinery safely whilst following procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work during designated hours as required by the employer
This position is suitable for individuals who are organised, dependable, and passionate about maintaining clean environments. Prior experience in janitorial roles will be considered an advantage.
