The Team:
S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) is seeking a Redistribution Lead within the Redistribution and Partnerships team to support the RatingsXpress (enterprise data feed) product management team. RatingsXpress is the flagship data distribution product for S&P Global Ratings’ credit ratings and other content. RatingsXpress is part of the Credit Solutions product suite which also includes ratings research, historical ratings, as well as issuer default and bond recovery data. Credit Solutions is a business unit within SPGMI Risk and Valuations Services.
As a Redistribution Lead, the individual will assist the team in optimizing our market strategy for the redistribution of ratings content via third parties in EMEA and APAC. The person will focus on serving the following customer segments: Data Vendors/Information Providers, Investment Management, Investment Banking, Insurance, Commercial Banking and Non-Financial Corporates. The successful candidate will be expected to support pricing and contractual terms related to the external redistribution of ratings content via third party feeds and platforms. The candidate will help with business and commercial strategy development, analyses of client base and price optimization of new client licensing opportunities.

This position will help drive the business to implement growth strategies and programs. The role interacts with clients and prospects and engages with leadership and peers across Product, Commercial, and Legal within SPGMI.
You will play a critical role in shaping how S&P Global distributes its credit content globally, influencing pricing, commercial models, and partner strategies while ensuring sustainable revenue growth across key markets.
Operating within a complex and evolving market data landscape, you will contribute to strategic decision-making, leveraging analysis and strong stakeholder collaboration to optimize outcomes across the redistribution ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Structure deals, negotiate terms and finalize agreements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on deals and quotes for comparative purposes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date summaries of all vendor/partner relationships including related contracts and terms.
Establish strong relationships with Commercial Teams and Product Managers to help in diagnosing, distilling, and delivering redistribution solutions to the market.
Collaborate internally to help design and deliver best practices training on redistribution for ratings content.
Operate with a strong understanding of the broader market data ecosystem, connecting day-to-day commercial activity to wider business strategy and long-term revenue goals.
Take ownership of vendor and partner engagement models, proactively identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and operational efficiency.
Leverage analytical insights to assess market opportunities, recommend pricing strategies, and influence decision-making across stakeholders.
Collaborate across regions and functions, building consensus and ensuring alignment on complex commercial initiatives.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing competing priorities and delivering against strategic objectives with minimal oversight.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 7+ years of relevant experience, including roles focused on financial information/market data vendor relationship management, sales, contract negotiations and overall market data management.
Complex and creative commercial deal negotiation experience as well as strong aptitude for reviewing, revising, and authoring deal proposals.
Solid knowledge of financial information and market data industry – including various vendors and products available in the marketplace.
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Deep analytical mindset, creative problem-solving ability and understanding of fixed income/investing/risk workflows.
Demonstrates the ability to operate within complex commercial environments, making informed decisions based on analysis and multiple inputs.
Builds and maintains strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, influencing outcomes and driving alignment.
Effectively manages competing priorities and deadlines, leveraging strong time management and delegation where appropriate.
Adapts to changing market conditions, making sound commercial decisions that balance risk and opportunity.
Brings a forward-looking mindset, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in commercial models and processes.

Additional Preferred Qualification:
Experience working across EMEA and APAC markets, with an understanding of regional differences in vendor and redistribution models.
Exposure to credit ratings, fixed income data, or credit risk workflows within financial institutions.
Experience partnering with Product, Legal, and Commercial teams to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise data feeds, redistribution models, or licensing structures within market data environments.
