Slinger Signaller - BBV (HS2 Project) - Water Orton
Location: Water Orton, Birmingham

Position: Slinger Signaller
Employment Type: Full-Time
Rate: £19.44 per hour basic rising to £29.16 per hour dependant on shift.
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
We are currently recruiting experienced Slinger Signallers to join the BBV team on the HS2 Project based in Water Orton.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and guide crane and lifting operations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with site procedures and lifting plans.
- Communicate clearly with crane operators and site personnel using recognised hand and radio signals.
- Conduct pre-lift checks and inspect lifting accessories.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Support site operations and work collaboratively with the wider construction team.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS Logo) Slinger Signaller qualification.
- HS2 induction card (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience working on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full PPE and a strong commitment to health and safety.
