About Us:
Homes Together provides residential support to working age adults with varying abilities.
We are currently looking for a Male Support Worker (due to the needs of the service) for a full time wake night position.
This position is a contract for 40 hours per week.
The hours are 10pm-8am (4 times a week).
Your main responsibilities will include:
·Assisting service users during the night with all areas of personal care as necessary.
· Comfort service users who wake and help to reduce any distress or anxiety which may be preventing them from sleeping. This may include preparing drinks or light snacks if required.
· Helping service users who rise early to wash, dress and prepare their choice of breakfast.
· Domestic tasks such as cleaning, ironing and laundry.
Requirements or Skills:
· Our service users like someone with a sense of humour
· A positive can-do attitude
· A willingness to learn new skills
· Good standard of numeracy and literacy
