Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Nail Technician to join our beauty salon. Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Apply makeup as requested by clients, offering personalised beauty advice.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sterilisation in all tools and work areas.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail designs or colours.
- Ensure client comfort throughout the treatment process and provide exceptional customer service.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences for future appointments.
- Promote additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a beauty salon environment.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to apply makeup professionally when required by clients.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure precise application of treatments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hygiene standards in beauty therapy.
- Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends if necessary.
