The National Shooting Centre is looking for individuals to join the Accommodation and Housekeeping Department on Bisley Camp. This role would suit someone who prides themselves in their work, as part of a team with an excellent eye for detail. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facilities.
- Clean office and conference room spaces.
- Clean hotel and cabin style rooms.
- Clean toilet and shower facilities on Bisley Camp.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and free from hazards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Assist with floor care, including sweeping, mopping and hoovering as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold the company's standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Carry out room changeovers as appropriate.
- Keep the laundry clean and put away in relevant areas.
- Conduct deep cleans on toilet and shower facilities, offices, rooms and all other areas on camp when required.
- Comply with all relevant Health and Safety regulations.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is essential.
- Able to see a task through to the end.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Be able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to remain professional, friendly and engaging at all times.
- Be a team player that is willing to help out as and when needs arise.
- Have a positive and pleasant attitude.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
