Epping Forest District Council is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Tenancy Team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and case support to Tenancy Officers, helping manage caseloads and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Assist with tenancy management tasks, including monitoring low-level issues, responding to enquiries, and supporting early intervention and tenant engagement
- Manage Mutual Exchange applications from start to finish, including eligibility checks, property inspections, decision-making, and liaison with tenants and partner landlords, with oversight from the Senior Tenancy Officer
- Maintain organised systems, prepare correspondence, reports, and communications, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation
- Support effective communication across the team and with customers, handling enquiries and escalating more complex issues where required

Working Arrangements
Reporting to the Team Manager for Tenancy
A hybrid working pattern is anticipated for this role, with office attendance expected for a minimum of around three days per week, depending on service requirements.
The Council operates to the standards of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and applicants are advised that this post is subject to a Basic check.
