As a kitchen porter you would help to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. When a kitchen is busy, equipment such as pots and pans will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for chefs and cooks to use again.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough cleaning of designated areas: sweeping, mopping floors and ensuring all surfaces are cleaned as instructed
- Ensure all machines and equipment are kept clean and all cleaning schedules are adhered too
- Cleaning of all fridges, shelving and food preparation areas
- Unloading of any food or equipment deliveries
- Ensure compliance with all food hygiene regulations and adhere to COSHH regulations and hazard risk assessments.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Manager
Hours of Work: Casual Hours
Applicants should be fully flexible to work morning, evening and weekends: Thursday - Sunday

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
