Overview
We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in groundworks, demonstrating proficiency in various site preparation and groundwork tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure and development schemes. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high standards of safety and quality on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with site clearance, excavation, and groundwork preparation
- Laying foundations, drainage systems, and other subsurface installations
- Operating basic hand tools and machinery relevant to groundworks
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the setting out and level checking of sites
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Supporting team members with additional site duties as required
Skills
- Proven experience as a Groundworker or similar role within construction or civil engineering projects
- Knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to operate basic tools and machinery safely
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness, capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Must have a valid CSCS card, Drivers License additional tickets such as Machine Operator, Street Works, Confined Space all advantageous

Pay: £15.15-£18.00 per hour
