Paediatric Complex Care Nurse
Location: Acle, Norwich
Pay: £35.00–£40.00 per hour
We are seeking experienced Paediatric Complex Care Nurses to support a young child with complex medical needs in a family home setting.
The child has Mosaic Trisomy 9 and requires specialist respiratory, neurological, and developmental care.
Clinical Needs
- Tracheostomy care
- Overnight Airvo support
- Gastrostomy feeding
- Epilepsy management
- Central sleep apnoea
- Spinal conditions
- Developmental & multisensory impairments
Available Shifts
7 days a week Nights:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 complex care within the home
- Must be able to Drive
- Tracheostomy management & suctioning
- Airvo/respiratory support
- Gastrostomy feeding & medication administration
- Epilepsy monitoring and clinical observations
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding/infection control policies
- Support the child’s comfort, dignity, and developmental needs
Essential Requirements:
- RGN / RSCN / RN Child qualification
- Minimum 6 months’ paediatric complex care/community experience
- Experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, gastrostomy feeding, respiratory support, and epilepsy care
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Up-to-date mandatory training
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Paediatric First Aid
- Tracheostomy/ventilation competency sign-off
- Experience with neurological or respiratory conditions in homecare settings
Pay: £35.00-£40.00 per hour
