Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated farm worker to join our modern poultry farming operation.
This role combines hands on work in poultry production with seasonal arable tasks, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.
Duties
- Assist with the day-to-day care and management of poultry, including bedding and monitoring bird welfare.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and biosecurity.
- Clean and maintain poultry sheds and equipment
- Support arable operations.
- Operate farm machinery (experience peferred)
- Carry out general farm machinery maintenance and upkeep
- Supporting general farm maintenance including fencing, and landscape upkeep
Qualifications
- Previous agricultural or poultry experience is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends when required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Experience:
- Agricultural : 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
