Happy Care Living Ltd is a growing care provider committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care services to adults and children within the community and home care settings. We support individuals with a wide range of needs including dementia care, learning disabilities, mental health support, physical disabilities, domiciliary care, and complex care.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Care Manager to lead and oversee our adult and children’s care services.
*Role Responsibilities*
Register with the CQC as the Registered Manager for the service.
Manage and oversee daily operations of domiciliary and community care services.
Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and care legislation.
Lead and support care staff, coordinators, and senior carers.
Develop care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual service users.
Ensure high standards of care for:
Adult care
Children’s care
Dementia care
Learning disabilities
Mental health support
Complex care
Home/domiciliary care
Conduct staff supervision, training, recruitment, and performance management.
Maintain accurate records, audits, and reports.
Build positive relationships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
Drive service quality and continuous improvement.
*Essential Requirements*
Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
Experience managing adult and/or children’s care services.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management (or working towards it).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in domiciliary care and dementia care services.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures for adults and children.
Ability to manage staffing, rotas, and service delivery effectively.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Skills
Experience with complex care packages.
Knowledge of Ofsted standards for children’s services.
Business development and care service growth experience.
Ability to handle emergencies and challenging situations professionally.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 37.0 – 40.0 per week
