About Us
Chillxpress LTD is a small family run firm with many years of experience in the chilled & frozen haulage sector. We cover all UK & European destinations, and run a modern fleet of Scania trucks and multi temp trailers.
About the Opportunity
Chillxpress LTD are looking for self employed/ LTD class 1 drivers for Holiday relief cover to join our team in Telford for UK work. This job involves 1-14 days Holiday cover with up to 6 plus nights out depending on the work we need covering.
Nights out paid at £26.20 per night out and £10 per day meal allowance

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
- Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
- Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
- Maintain all health and safety standards
- Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
- Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
Your knowledge and experience:
- To hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
- To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication skills
- Must be clean & tidy
- Take pride in cleanliness of the truck
- LTD Driver
- Self employed
