We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area
- Support the efficient organisation of stock and supplies, including restocking as necessary
- Help with dishwashing duties, ensuring all crockery and cutlery are spotless and ready for service
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance where needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team oriented attitude
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to health and safety standards
Pay: £30,500.00 per year
