Milestone South East Limited delivers planned and responsive maintenance across the South East. We’re recruiting a Contract Administrator to support our roofing maintenance contract for Eastbourne and Lewes, covering planned roof replacements and reactive repairs, based at our Ringmer office. This is a long-term, secure role backed by a 10-year maintenance framework, with genuine room to grow as the contract develops.
You’ll be the link between our site teams, the commercial and operational staff, and the client — keeping documentation accurate, compliant and moving on time.
What you’ll do
- Manage document control for the contract, ensuring records are accurate, version-controlled and compliant
- Use internal and external portals to upload, receive and issue documents between site teams and the client
- Track outstanding paperwork and chase site teams to keep records up to date
- Support the commercial team with data entry, inputting priced works onto the client portal using the Schedule of Rates (the pricing is already done — this is accurate data entry, not estimating)
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
What we’re looking for
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with good attention to detail
- Confident using IT systems, portals and Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software
- Reliable, methodical and able to manage a steady workload to deadlines
- A team player who communicates well with site staff, office colleagues and clients
- No commercial or construction background needed — full training given on our systems and processes
- Essential: Due to the office location and limited public transport, you’ll need a full UK driving licence and your own transport, and ideally live within a 30-minute drive of Ringmer
