Sous Chef – La Piola, Leeds

La Piola is an independent Italian restaurant known for honest food, genuine hospitality and a busy, quality-driven kitchen.
Four years after opening, we're continuing to grow and are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to become a key part of our leadership team.

The role
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, organisation and service. You'll motivate and develop the kitchen team, lead by example and confidently run the kitchen whenever the Head Chef is away, ensuring consistency and professionalism at all times.
Maintaining exceptional hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards is fundamental to this role and expected at all times.
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous ready to step up.
Thrives in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
Leads with energy, positivity and professionalism.
Takes pride in high standards, organisation and attention to detail.
Understands that hygiene and food safety are non-negotiable.
Shares our passion for great food and genuine hospitality.
What we offer
