Electrical Technician
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30pm | Fri 7:30am-2:00pm
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting an Electrical Technician on behalf of a well-established engineering company with a global reputation in aircraft refuelling equipment. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role with some site work, offering steady hours, overtime, and long-term security.
This role would suit someone from a vehicle electrics, plant engineering, HGV, or ex-forces background who enjoys practical work and fault-finding on bespoke equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wiring electrical components on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles
- Assembling electrical and pneumatic components onto custom-built panels
- Testing completed work to required standards
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised working area
- Supporting occasional on-site work when required
Requirements & Experience:
- Background in electrical work (vehicle electrics ideally, but not essential)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Confident using electrical hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers)
- Competent with general hand and power tools
- Full UK driving licence and good spoken English
- Basic understanding of health & safety
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with pneumatics
- Electrical CAD knowledge
- Previous work on HGVs or specialist vehicles
