Job Purpose
To conduct workshop and off-site work on heat exchangers, radiators and other pressure equipment to instructions given. To complete and maintain company records as required. To conduct the work, as an individual or part of a team, within the target timescales, using the defined materials to meet quality and cost targets. Fully embrace tools and techniques for continuous improvement and creative problem solving. To ensure that any work conducted by the employee or other staff controlled by the employee is conducted in a safe manner, which complies with the Companies Health & Safety and Environmental policies as well as all current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair & Install: Refurbish, assemble, and install heat exchangers according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect & Test: Conduct technical assessments, create sketches for quotations, and perform pressure testing to ensure industry compliance.
- Troubleshoot: Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Safety & Quality: Adhere strictly to HSE protocols, maintain accurate service records, and ensure equipment is kept in top condition.
- Collaborate: Work with engineers and project managers to execute projects efficiently and contribute to process improvements.
