Compliance Manager
Protech Site Services Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Manager on behalf of a leading UK organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and highly ethical compliance professional to take ownership of key corporate compliance programmes and play a central role in strengthening governance, controls, and regulatory compliance across the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and multiple business functions to support and enhance compliance frameworks covering areas such as:
- Anti-Bribery & Corruption
- Anti-Money Laundering
- Human Rights & Modern Slavery
- Fraud Prevention
- Competition Law

Key Responsibilities
- Support risk assessment and compliance monitoring activities in partnership with internal audit and risk teams
- Identify potential compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Draft, review, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Design, implement, and maintain compliance programmes across key corporate risk areas
- Enhance and develop compliance training and e-learning initiatives through the organisation’s learning management systems
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Prepare compliance reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders
- Deliver engaging training and awareness programmes to promote a strong compliance culture
- Provide practical advice and guidance on evolving legislation, regulatory obligations, and emerging compliance risks
- Work collaboratively with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, Risk, Group Functions, and operational business units
- Act as a key point of contact for compliance-related matters across the organisation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance, controls, and reporting processes
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practice
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Risk, or a related discipline
- Professional compliance, audit, or risk qualification preferred (e.g. ICA, IRM, IIA or equivalent)
Experience
- Proven experience within a senior compliance role in a large corporate or listed organisation
- Experience establishing and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and assurance processes
- Strong experience engaging with senior stakeholders including department heads and directors
- Sector experience within construction, housing, or property is beneficial but not essential
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate compliance laws, regulations, and governance requirements
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures, controls, and record-keeping standards
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to identify trends and compliance risks
- Experience using digital tools and AI-driven technologies to improve compliance monitoring and reporting is advantageous
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
