Redburn Utilities Ltd is a growing utilities contractor delivering essential infrastructure and maintenance services across the UK water sector. Due to continued growth and increasing workload across the Yorkshire Water region, we are looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of our Waste Water Repair & Maintenance (R&M) operations.
This is a key operational role responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to client standards.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will oversee field teams carrying out wastewater repair and maintenance works across the Yorkshire Water network. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational delivery, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting the successful completion of projects across multiple work sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise R&M wastewater field teams across the Yorkshire Water region.
· Plan and coordinate daily site activities and resources.
· Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project requirements.
· Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
· Liaise with operational management, planners, and client representatives.
· Conduct site visits, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
· Ensure all site documentation and reporting is completed accurately.
· Support the efficient management of labour, plant, and materials across multiple sites.
· Assist with resolving operational challenges and ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Supervisor within the wastewater, utilities, or civil engineering sector.
· Experience delivering repair and maintenance works on wastewater networks.
· Experience working on water utility frameworks such as Yorkshire Water (desirable).
· Strong leadership and organisational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple teams and sites simultaneously.
· Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within utilities operations.
Qualifications
· SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
· NRSWA / Streetworks Supervisor qualification.
· CSCS card (Supervisor level preferred).
· Temporary Works, Deep Ex
· Full UK driving licence.
