Abacus Employment services are recruiting on behalf of our Client for skilled experienced Machine Operator's to join their manufacturing team on a TTP basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right individuals.
Duties
- Running of a Press to controlled specifications.
- Experience in plastic or rubber moulding preferred.
- Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications using hand tools and tooling
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation and/or report any issues/faults to either Team leaders/Supervisor.
- Adhere to SWP and SQR.
- Completion of required paperwork ( WIP, W/O, Pace board, NCM, Press control forms, Log books etc )
- Monitor Machinery
- Fine finger dexterity
- Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Car Drivers essential due to location.
You will be need to be physically fit and healthy as this role will involve standing, lifting, carrying, pushing/+ or pulling, kneeling.
