St George's is a privately owned nursing home. We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Receptionist to join our friendly team in Milford on Sea. As part of our team you will be organised and enthusiastic with previous experience working in a similar position, ideally within the care sector.
Pay Rates from £12.80
Monday 09.00 to 17.00
Applicants must have:
Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in administration
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- A satisfactory criminal record
Principle Responsibilities
- To greet visitors to the home in a friendly and professional manner
- Receive incoming calls, and transferring any enquiries to the correct team member.
- Ensure that all visitors to the home comply with any health and safety requirements
- Answer emails promptly
- Meet and greet tours for prospective residents
- Pharmacy collections
- Administration for resident contracts, menus, incoming & outgoing mail
- Occasional holiday cover for other reception shifts
Person Specification
- Calm approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills in word, excel and outlook
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues.
- Be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
- Full Driving Licence is essential
