Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a blend of interpersonal skills, practical assistance, and a commitment to delivering high-quality home care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to guidelines and protocols.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organised living space for clients.
- Utilise IT systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.
Skills
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in home care or care home settings is desirable but not necessary.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence for transporting clients when necessary.
- Basic IT skills for managing documentation and communication effectively.
- A compassionate nature with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
