Machine Operative
Location: Ballymena
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Overview
We are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join our client based in the Ballymena area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company operating at a high standard within the construction and civil engineering sector.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Shift times: 5:00am – 2:00pm or 6:00am – 3:00pm
- 32–48 hours per week depending on business needs
- Overtime and Saturday work may be required
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Preparing moulds and assisting in the production process
- Pouring and finishing concrete products
- Working to daily production targets and schedules
- Operating safely within a team environment
- Completing production records and timesheets
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
- Following all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, or a similar hands-on role
- Good production experience
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Basic understanding of written and spoken English
Desirable (training can be provided):
- Experience in civil engineering or construction-related work
- Ability to read technical or construction drawings
- Experience using hand, air, or power tools
- Counterbalance forklift or overhead crane licence
- CSR Card / First Aid / Fire Warden training
