The Headteacher and Governors of Manor Beach Primary School are delighted to invite applications for the position of Cleaner to join our dedicated and supportive staff team.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring our school is a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive in a well-maintained setting.
The successful applicant will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
Hours of work:
10 hours per week
Monday to Friday
3:30pm 5:30pm
This is a permanent position, working term-time plus additional hours during the school holidays ( which may be blocked over two weeks). These additional weeks will usually be worked during the summer holidays, although the timing may vary to meet the operational needs of the school.
The successful candidate will be subject to a probationary period. We are committed to child protection and safeguarding and the successful candidate will need to apply for clearance from the Disclosure Barring Service for an Enhanced DBS. The successful candidate will also receive safeguarding training to ensure the welfare of all pupils.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
