Welder Fabricator (MIG)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: 2 shift rotation
Pay Rate: £16.80 per hour
About the Role
Jackson Hogg are hiring on behalf of a client for experienced Welder Fabricators (MIG) to join their production team.
Following initial induction, you will move onto a 2‑shift rotation, working across a variety of materials and thicknesses in a fast‑paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding and fabrication duties
- Work with mild steel and stainless steel materials
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Work from jigs, fixtures, and freehand fabrication
- Ensure high quality and accuracy of all welds
- Support general fabrication and workshop duties
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings independently
- Experience working with a range of materials and thicknesses
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
