Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastor/Evangelist Missionary to serve within our community. This role involves spiritual leadership, outreach, and support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate should have had a background in the gospel faith mission doctrinal teachings and training and will be committed to sharing faith, providing guidance, and fostering a sense of hope and unity through various programmes and initiatives. Duties
- Deliver sermons, teachings, and evangelistic messages to congregations and community groups.
- Provide spiritual counselling and mentorship to individuals of all ages, including working with children.
- Lead outreach programmes aimed at engaging the community and spreading the Gospel.
- Organise and participate in charitable activities, including hospice care support where applicable.
- Conduct training sessions for volunteers and church members on leadership, mentoring, and evangelism techniques.
- Assist in fundraising efforts to support church missions, community projects, and outreach activities.
- Offer pastoral care and support during times of crisis or personal hardship within the community.
- Foster relationships with local organisations to promote community well-being and spiritual growth.
Skills
- Strong teaching ability with clear communication skills to effectively convey spiritual messages.
- Proven leadership qualities with experience in guiding teams or groups within a faith-based setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse populations including children and vulnerable adults.
- Ability to mentor others, providing encouragement and spiritual guidance.
- Compassionate approach suitable for hospice care or similar supportive roles.
- Experience in fundraising activities to sustain mission projects and community initiatives.
- Organised with the ability to plan events, programmes, and outreach activities efficiently. Pay: £23,400.00-£25,000.00 per year
