Job Overview:
As a Design and Technology (DT) Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the DT department by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient workshop environment. The ideal DT Technician will have practical knowledge of workshop tools and machinery, along with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain materials and equipment for DT lessons.

Assist the DT department in setting up practical sessions.

Ensure the DT workshop is clean, safe, and well-organised.

Maintain and service DT machinery and tools.

Support health and safety compliance within the DT department.

Collaborate with teachers and pupils to facilitate practical learning.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Design and Technology (DT) Technician or similar role preferred.

Good practical knowledge of workshop tools, machinery, and materials.
